John L. Warden, Jr.

Chairman of the board
Founder & CEO

Mr. John Warden has held entrepreneurial and executive roles in five startup companies to date, successfully returning more than $75M in net profits to investors.
 

He possesses a proven track record in business development, notably with Biovista, a drug development services provider for major pharmaceutical companies, where he made a significant impact building markets for complex technology products. Additionally, he developed, engineered, and constructed the proprietary software and hardware for the HemChip®, HemBox™, and HemStation™.

David Ho, PhD

Board member & Founder

Dr. David Ho is an acknowledged expert on blood platelets who has been at the forefront of blood research for over a decade. Dr. Ho is well-published and has expanded the understanding of how coagulation protein factor XI interacts with platelets.

 

He is the inventor of a unique desiccation technique to preserve human cells for extended storage. He has been issued three  US patents and numerous scientific awards.

 

He has directed numerous inter-organizational projects with academic, government and industry partners for cellular products in wound dressing, tissue regeneration and transfusable applications.

Richard Liu

CFO & Board member

Mr. Richard Liu possesses extensive professional experience in capital markets, financial analysis, accounting, and auditing. He holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BBA from Baruch College, City University of New York.

​

He is a CFA Charterholder and a former CPA in New York State, he successfully oversaw an equity trading desk managing hundreds of millions of shares in trading volume across the US, EU, and Japan. He delivered a direct positive impact on P&L by leveraging technology to enhance execution speed and quality while significantly reducing commission costs.

Hao V. Nguyen

Mr. Hao Nguyen is an innovator and entrepreneur with 25+ years in business leadership and a specialist in the medical equipment market. He is the founder and CEO of Anh Khoa Co; Ltd, a global import/export company and the Founder and CEO of AMVI Partners, LLC. Mr. Hao has experienced in all aspects of business formation, operation, finance, and management together with the visionary product developer with deep education in research and analytics trending markets. Mr. Hao is an effective communicator and motivator who identifies and leverages assets in teammates to reach organizational goals. Hao is the relentless optimist who believes there is no failure, only feedback.

James Vig Sherrill

Board member

James Vig Sherrill is a serial technology entrepreneur whose companies have generated over $490 million in revenue and investment in the Knoxville, TN area. Beginning his career as an award-winning researcher at the David Sarnoff Research Center, he has founded and led multiple pioneering ventures, including Audio Animation (digital audio), ASIC International (semiconductors, acquired by Flextronics), TradeWinds (RFID), and GridSmart (intelligent traffic systems, acquired by Qubic).
 
Currently, Mr. Sherrill is the Founder of General Graphene, which has revolutionized the cost-effective production of graphene to become the world’s largest producer by 2022. He holds numerous patents, serves on multiple boards, and earned his BSEE from Purdue University and his MSEE from Rutgers and Princeton University.

Bel Leong-Hong

Belkis “Bel” Leong-Hong is the Founder and CEO of Knowledge Advantage Inc. (KAI). A retired Senior Executive Service member with 30 years in the DOD, she formerly served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for C4I and CIO of the Defense Security Service. She is a recognized expert in cybersecurity, data science, and executive leadership.

 

Ms. Leong-Hong serves on the University of Maryland Medical System Corporate Board and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. A leader in her community, she is the co-founder of the Asian American Government Executives Network (AAGEN) and a Past President of Women in Technology (WIT). She holds degrees from Hunter College and American University and has received numerous accolades, including the Presidential Rank Meritorious Service Award and the DOD Distinguished Service Medal.

Sang Xuan Hai Dinh

Board member

Sang Xuan Hai Dinh is multi-sector entrepreneur and founder with a distinguished track record in developing sustainable business models across renewable energy (hydropower and solar), education, and healthcare. Boasting over 25 years of leadership experience, he possess expertise in executive management, strategic planning, finance, and investment.
 

Mr. Dinh have successfully participated in and executed numerous M&A deals and corporate restructurings. His profile features sharp strategic thinking and practical execution combined with strong operational capabilities, focusing on optimizing operational efficiency, scaling business growth, and driving long-term value creation.
